*URGENT*About the local recording file with simultaneous interpretation

I need someone's help...I am really upset about my recording.

Today, we had an interview with people from oversea. 

So, we used the Zoom's function of simultaneous interpretation for the first time.

The interview was completely over, and I checked the recording file.

I thought there will be 2 files, one is with simultaneous translation, and the other one is original speaker's one.

But, actually, I only found one recording file with simultaneous translation.

I really need the original speaker's one.

 

Does anyone know how to get the original speaker's recording file?

I found I should have recorded with cloud mode, not on local.

(But cloud recording's video will be much cheep visual, so I chose the local. It was a huge mistake.)

From our documentation on this feature: 
"Cloud recordings of interpretation sessions will only record the original audio of the meeting or webinar, not the translations. Local recordings of interpretation sessions will record any audio the person recording can hear, but not multiple audio channels."

Unfortunately local recordings will only record the audio that you can hear but not the multiple audio channels. In the future, I suggest the host initiate a cloud recording to share with the participants but have participants locally record in their language for their own playback.

Kinuko, just so that you get the process right, to record a specific language locally with the current version of the ZOOM client you need to:

  1. Have a dedicate laptop/PC per language channel that you want to record
  2. Login on each laptop as a different attendee of the meeting Cannot do this as an attendee of a webinar
  3. Give each user the rights to record locally (a HOST function is required to do this unless everyone is by default allowed to record locally). Make sure that these attendees DONOT have the CoHost role 
  4. Select the language channel you want to record and the screen layout you want to record on each laptop (one per language)
  5. Start the local recording on each laptop with the desired language channel selected.
    NOTE:  DONOT change the language channel during the recording as the recording will follow your change and you get a messed up recording with different languages

My experience is that you end up with a good local audio recording but the video recording depends on your setup and internet connection quality. Therefore you need to normalize the recordings by editing the original cloud recording and replacing the audio track. This raises the question on how to record the interpretation - with or without the original speaker so that you can do all the editing and sound level and quality adjustments whilst editing the final video. This is usually necessary if the Interpreters have non normalized equipment that caused differences in the quality and sound levels.
