Taking ownership of a meeting from an owner who is no longer with the organization

is it possible to change ownership of a longstanding meeting for which the original meeting owner / creator is no longer with the organization?  the link was highly publicized and it is preferable to edit ownership rather than create a new meeting link. unfortunately this was missed when the original owner exited the organization.

This question has been answered in the past by @Bort . You can find the previous discussion here. Essentially you delegate scheduling to the new owner and the new owner changes owner themself.
