Playback issues with xcode error log

anr

Hi everyone, I've recently run into issues on playing back  a Zoom recording. In the Zoom recording folder, there is an xcode_error log which I have not seen before.

The first half of the playback is fine, up until a certain period. The playback issues come in 2 stages:

  1. Video freezing/ stutter, audio remains
  2. Video freezing/ stutter, then audio replaying too quickly (at least x2 speed)

During the last minute of the playback, things return to normal.

The xcode log contains the following:

task 1-5.0.24c292.0512:  [file path]

These seem to correlate with the timestamp within the video where the playback issues are.

Has anyone encountered this before and found a solution? Thanks!

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

Hi Carla,

I have the exact same problem. I have the xcode error in my files and when I play the mp4 file the speed is hyper fast and you can make anything out. The log for my xcode error reads:

task 1-5.0.24c292.0512: [file path]

Can you help?!

Hi @MajaLang ! Because this case is unique to your Zoom account recording, I suggest converting your inquiry into a support ticket, here. Our tech team will do their best to help you recover the file 🙂

Hope this helps!

Hi all, I had the same problem recurring, on every meeting. I filed a support ticket and after some back and forth the issue was resolved. It was caused by OneDrive of Microsoft under Windows. Zoom was saving the recording by default in the Documents folder which was under automatic sync.

Once I changed the recording folder to one that is not synchronized, the recordings returned to normal.
