Phone meeting

Jakeza
Listener

Hello,
I would like to understand why participants can access Zoom meetings by telephone via freephone numbers when there is a €100 per month offer to obtain the meeting option by telephone.
Are these free numbers absolutely free from any landline or mobile phone?
Thank you for your answers.

@Jakeza

i think you mean the add-on for audio-conferencing.

The big difference between this add-on and the free features in the meeting are:

  • free call-out function
  • free of charge dial-in numbers for participants in more country's
  • you can choose which dial-in numbers you enable for the meetings.

I hope this answer helps, if not let me/us know :).

Thank you very much for your answer!

However, a question remain:

You tell me that the big difference between this add-on and the free meeting features are :

- The free call feature
- Free call numbers for participants in more countries
- I can choose which call numbers I activate for meetings.

However, the free call feature is already offered with the five toll-free numbers provided by Zoom for my country (France).

Am I right in thinking that the 100€ monthly fee only gives me the advantage of choosing the international toll-free numbers?

With the five free phone numbers provided by Zoom for my country of residence, I can therefore hold these audio meetings without paying the extra 100 euros per month for the module? Is this true?

And is the call really free for users, even from their cell phones?

Thank you !
