Hey everyone,

I'm trying to remove the password setting on my account but it's saying 'locked by admin'.... I'm the only one on the account.

Attaching two photos for reference.

Thank you so much.

Hi there,

Please login as the Owner of the account to unlock this setting. Do you have a different owner account ?

If this response helps, please accept the answer as an accepted solution, so others can benefit as well.

Hi,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

I am logged in as the owner :(. No other accounts.

Thank you. Is this a licensed account ?

It was. I upgraded for 2 months but I went back to the basic plan.

I suspect that has to do with it. Because I tested in my basic plan and I cannot access the Account settings.

Ah ok. I figured it did... because the timing was around the same time it started giving me issues.

Is there a way to reset and return to the prior settings?... Before upgrading to Licensed.

What are the options?

Hello,

This should be part of settings that work with only Licensed accounts. I think you will need to upgrade to a Licensed account as an option. There is no way to reset your account.

Hope that helps

I see the same for my Basic account.

That's unfortunate 😞

And there's no way to contact support?

Hello,

Sorry you are not able to change the settings because of a basic plan. Support would have the same advice to upgrade to a Licensed account because like I mentioned, the account cannot be reset.

Thanks so much Sach!

Seems like Zoom is punish it's users for downgrading lol.

One last question... Is there a way to include the password in the shared Zoom link?

My scheduling system currently isn't able to capture the password in the Zoom link. Which is causing a lot of inconvenience for meetings.
