In my work as a consultant, we are in the process of transitioning our internal team for one client from MS Teams to Zoom. In doing so, we need to leverage the "join by browser" functionality as our client does not allow the Zoom app to be downloaded.
Unfortunately, multiple users reported the following error when joining a meeting through the "join by browser" in multiple browsers (both IE, Chrome, and Edge).
This site can't be reached. The webpage at (meeting link) might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_HTTP2_SERVER_REFUSED_STREAM
After clearing cache and verifying that this error message was occurring in multiple browsers, we realized that the error is minimized when (1) signing into Zoom first, and (2) joining through Chrome. However, it is still occurring. Furthermore, we've noticed that if you leave that URL page open, that within anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes, the page eventually allows the user to enter into the meeting. However, this is resulting in confusion and people existing the meeting, unable to join. For some users, the page never loads.
I'm out of troubleshooting ideas. The app is not permitted through the firewall, so we concluded there shouldn't be any issue in accessing it through the browser. Was this an incorrect conclusion? Any assistance is appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Kristi,
We are seeing the same issue in our organization when trying to join zoom meetings through the browser. Were you able to find a working solution or get any assistance from Zoom? @Anonymous is there any assistance you can provide regarding this error?
