Distorted sound on playing video


Hi - I have used a website-based video clip (and the YouTube version) previously for training sessions with no issues.


However, I've had problems on attempting this today. Whilst it plays perfectly on my PC as I share the screen, sound at participant end is now distorted to the point where, even with subtitles, the clip is completely unusable.

I note from forum messages that some people have rolled back to a Zoom version of Apr 2021 to solve. Is this is current recommended solution or does a fix now exist? I'd be grateful for your advice. Thank you.

Hi @AngelaB , thanks for your contribution to the community! Apologies for the delay in response.. If you are still experiencing this issue I would recommend completely uninstalling the Zoom application, restarting your computer, and then installing the Zoom app again. Give that and try and please do keep me updated!
