Can not see the “Language Interpretation” option in my “In Meeting (Advanced)” settings

Hi everyone,

I'm going to host a meeting that requires Interpretation this weekend.  Somehow I can not find the place to turn on the "Language Interpretation" feature, even though I have checked the "In Meeting (Advanced)" settings so many times.

Yes, my zoom account has Pro Plan.

Has anyone had the same issues? Please help if you know how to fix this?

Thank you,

Jason

Same here, I had the feature enabled. But now that setting has disappeared, and the option no longer appears in my meeting? Functionality going away in zoom?

…a tech company innovating by taking features away…?

Hi @SVF & @VP180

Please take note of and check the Prerequisites section of the language interpretation article. To have access to this feature, you must have at least a Pro account + a webinar license. It could be that your webinar subscription expired, which disabled the feature on your account.

Thank you, Bort - I feel like we did it in a meeting recently. Are you saying that Zoom requires you to buy webinar feature in order to have this capability in a MEETING? Is this a new requirement?

Hi @VP180

No, this is not new. This has been a requirement for the for at least the past 2 years. You do not need the webinar license assigned to you, but your account must be at least Pro and subscribed to 1 webinar license.

Thanks… I think I get it. Despite not doing webinars, this feature is part of what you get when you pay  for webinar.  We add webinar as needed, so maybe we had it on when we used this last.

You have been very helpful; I appreciate it.
