I'm an instructor at an online coding school. We use zoom as our classroom and use the breakout rooms when it's time for practices. It would be so wonderful if I could create templates or save breakout room setups in some way so I don't have to enter the same settings every single time. I think this would be a great feature for your next update! Thanks for your time.

Hey there! Thank you for sharing this idea. At this time, all feature requests are managed within our https://zoom.us/feed submission form. We encourage you to submit this idea there, where the information will then be passed along to the relevant product team for review.

There might be a couple workarounds for this:
If students are logging in with the same email address all the time, and you have it enabled, you can pre-assign breakout rooms via upload of a CSV file. Upload the file when you schedule the meeting. Keep a copy of the file on your local computer in case you ever need to change it, and reupload if necessary.
If it's a recurring meeting, and your on the right version of the Zoom app, looks like you can save breakout room assignments too - https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206476313-Managing-breakout-rooms

This feature is now available! You can save your breakout room setup for future use in a recurring meeting. Here is the snippet from our support article that will show you how to do this:
Saving current breakout room assignments for future use
If you want to save these assignments, either done automatically or manually, for use in a future meeting in this series. Up to 10 different saved assignments are supported for each user.
Note: The recurring meeting must have a fixed recurrence pattern. No-fixed time meetings are not supported.

save breakout rooms for future use - this feature doesn't work when I allow participants to choose breakout rooms. I have submitted feedback today. Hope Zoom can tweak the feature to work in all scenarios. Thank you.
