Zoom recording record only show up when my company email is on the contact record in Salesforce


We are set up to have Zoom recordings automatically added to a contact in Salesforce. The problem is that the recording does not show up on the contact record if the email address is anything other than my company email address (e.g. *********** is who I had a meeting with but the recording does not appear, it only appears if I change the email on the contact record to ***********.


Does this have anything to do with the excluded email addresses? 


NOTE: We are not using the zoom integration app. This is set up through Zoom connector, so there is only a push from Zoom to Salesforce.
