I noticed in a support article (Geographic availability for attending Zoom Events) that Zoom Events has geographic limits for paid events. Is it available for United States territories like Puerto Rico?

@IIBABirmingham  This will be available to US territories such as Puerto Rico-

Here is a list of current restricted countries:

Restricted countries or regions

  • Cuba: For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
  • Iran:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
  • North Korea:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
  • Syria:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
  • Ukraine (Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk regions):  For regulatory reasons, users in these regions are currently unable to access Zoom services.

Thanks for your reply! For free events, I agree that it will work for anyone but those countries you listed. However, for paid events I was specifically talking about the section below. Notice that it lists United States as a country, but doesn't mention territories:

Countries allowed to attend paid Zoom Events

Attendees and special role users located in the following countries will be allowed to attend paid Zoom Events:

  • Argentina
  • Austria
  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Portugal
  • Singapore
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

Note: If a paid event is set to restrict access to one of these countries, then users located in one of these countries will not be allowed to register for the event.
