Hi everybody,   I have an educational account and recorded my first Zoom meeting yesterday.  I mistakenly thought that be recording it to the cloud it would also automatically transcribe the meeting.  As it turns out, that's not the case for my account anyways.  I've turned on audio transcription now.  However, I can't seem to find a way to transcribe my 1st recording.1. Is it possible to have Zoom transcribe a recorded Zoom meeting?2.  If so, how do I do it? Due to the nature of the meeting, I don't want to arbitrarily upload the video to an outside vendor for transcription. (ie Grain).   Thanks in advance!

Zoom room functions in all ways EXCEPT it will not transfer the audio from a shared application like a Power Point. So presentation goes along just fine but when the Power Point has sound from say a group of sea lions it will not transfer to the other participants. Again. The microphone functions, Speakers work,...just will not share any sounds from any desktop application such as Power Point or OBS Studio.  Any help would be gratefully accepted.  

Does anyone know how to quantify the chat after a meeting to measure student engagement? Ideally, the final document would include the student name and how many times they responded to questions. Content of the chat should be kept so salutations and other non-content based text isn't included. Thanks!

I  scheduled a recurring meeting in Canvas; however, when my students try to join us, they say they need a password. I don't have a password so I don't know what is happening. I have been using Canvas for the last two years,  I have scheduled my class sessions for my M-Th classes and this works well. Only the Saturday group cannot use the ConferZoom link. Could you hep me please? Thank you.

Hello, I want to use new email to create new zoom account as a student, but I accidently press "education  account" for my new account. Now I can not fill in those education information, such as name of organisation, country, etc. So I can not sign up my new account and I can not find way to cancel that option, what should I do?

I'm trying to set up a Zoom account for my work email that works with kids, but it is not in an educational context. I accidentally clicked the Educator Account and now I cannot create the account without being prompted to enter Educator Information and sign the Zoom Acknowledgement of Educational Data Privacy Practices. Please help reverse this as I need to use my work email for my Zoom account and cannot set it up past this point.

I am a university students and used my university email address to sign up for zoom.  However, I have ended up with a basic account, but I understand that I am entitled to an education account with unlimited minutes.  How can I change my account?

Hi so my university email system recently moved from Google to Outlook, so technically my school Google account doesn't exist anymore. However I am invited to meetings through my university email, which for some reason is still tied to Google. Which means I cannot join these meetings because I have to sign in to my university email which I can't because it is tied to a Google account that no longer exists. How can I fix this issue?

I would like to teach online Mac computer classes via Zoom. Does Zoom provide tools that allow an instructor's key strokes to display as they are typing? I'd like for participants to see when I hit a key that is not a letter or number. I'm also curious to know if Zoom has any tools for assisting instructors who are teaching via Zoom. Thank you!

Hi There! I have been using ZOOM for almost 2 years to teach my private music lessons. I have a really great setup where I am able to share my iPad and write out lessons in real time using the app notability. I can then send the lessons via pdf directly to my students. I noticed after the most recent update that the video quality of may students diminishes into a grainy pixelated display when I am sharing my screen. Once I stop the screen sharing, the video which I receive from my students goes back to normal HD"ish" quality. I spend most of my time in the lesson using the screen sharing mode. It is very hard to see what strings or frets students are playing when the video quality is so bad during screen share mode. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get it back the way it was before the update. I so regret doing this update, it is really effecting my work. Thank You!

Hi I have been using the free Zoom to teach online. I have always shared my screen easily and given the children remote control. But recently when I try show a video it doesn't show the video - gets stuck on the first 'screen.' When giving remote control the children can move the cursor but not click and choose an item. This all worked very well until now. We have all updated our Zoom. Please help - any suggestions welcome.

Hello, I accidentally selected the educator option when I created a zoom account using my official school email. Can someone pls help me?

Hello I used my official school email making a zoom account and accidentally pressed the educator option. I was hoping someone could help me reverse it thank you very much!

When adding users to a Business account, we are given the option for Basic or Licensed.  We have a BAA to ensure that our account is HIPAA complaint. What we're wanting to know is whether the Basic Users are covered under that BAA and therefore HIPAA compliant.  Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

An instructor has been having issues with multiple Zoom cloud recordings appearing after their lectures. They hypothesized that it might be related to multiple participants joining and leaving the meeting.After some testing was done on my part, I concluded that the multiple Zoom cloud recordings have to do with the "Enable join before host" and "Record the meeting automatically" options enabled. A new recording ends up being generated each time a participant joins and ends the meeting, before the host joins. The instructor still wants these two meeting options to be enabled, so I am wondering if there is a way to have just one cloud recording even with these options enabled?Thank you!
